Incident: Possession of CDS

Suspect: Cortez Carter, 20, Suitland, MD

Narrative: On 4 October 2011 a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the ensuing investigation into the activity of Carter, the deputy located a baggie of what the deputy identified as marijuana inside Carter’s pants pocket.

The deputy transported Carter to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Carter on Personal Recognizance.

Incident: Domestic Assault
Date of Incident: 4 October 2011
Location: 700 Block Richmond Ave., Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Allen Wright, 54, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 4 October 2011, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival an investigation revealed that the victim had been assaulted by the suspect, Allen Wright. There were no injuries. Wright was placed under arrest.

The deputy transported Wright to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of
the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner placed a $25,000 bond on Wright.
