Vehicle One: 2005 Toyota Prius

Vehicle One Driver: 70 Y/O Male

Pedestrian: 9 Y/O Female

BRIEF RESUME:

Vehicle number one was traveling N/B on Gumboro Rd when a young female ran out in front of the vehicle without looking. The driver of V-1 did not have time to hit the brakes but tried to swerve to avoid hitting the young female. The child sustained a head injury and was transported to PRMC. At this time there are no charges pending for either party.

INCIDENT: Suspicious Package.

BRIEF RESUME:

On the above date and time TFC. K. Moore, responded to Delmar Road in Mardela Springs, Maryland to investigate a suspicious package. Representatives from Maryland State Police, Maryland State Fire Marshall’s Office, and Maryland Department of the Environment responded to the scene to assist the investigation. A representative from MDE was able to test the contents on scene and determined the suspicious package contained water, and no dangerous chemicals that would be harmful to the public or property.
