Sheriff's Deputy Almost Clips Money Bagger
Today, a Sheriff's Deputy was attempting to pass by the truck when one of the workers popped open the door without looking, seriously. The Deputy stopped on a dime and all was good.

Them damn armored truck drivers and companies are a real P.I.T.A.
Even when picking up at a royal farms, or where ever I suppose, they park right in the middle of parking lot. Supposedly so the driver can see his partner picking up the money and being able to help if there is a problem.
I went to a royal farms one day and one of those armored cars parked right behind me.
I signaled to both of them to pull up 3 feet so I could back out and leave. They looked at me like deers in the headlights.
When I went in I complained to the cashier but I might as well have been talking to the coffee cup I went in to buy.
I sent the company an email when I got home and yet to have an answer. That's been over 2 months now.
I can understand their need for security but come on. They use that as an excuse just to be holes in the derriere.

Wonder if the deputy gave the driver a much deserved ticket.
why would the dopey deputy try to squeeze past this truck on that side anyway? Looks like there is plenty of room on the left side of the truck.

Let's role play for a second. You are a business owner who deals with companies like Loomis (where this guy works). He is picking up or dropping off quite a bit of money for you... Wouldn't you want them to park in the best possible place for them to work safely considering how many homeless people hang around the Plaza? Now let's say you are in his shoes... Where would you park for the 5 minutes you will be stopped?
If you can't tell my job deals with businesses like Loomis and seeing how much money they carry (even if i was in a car behind them) I would understand. We scream about being safe on a country level yet we can't let these guys do what they can for the same.
How is parking in the middle of a street or parking lot safer than parking as to not obstruct others?
They are not the only ones out there. And what could a homeless person do if he was parked a few away that he couldn't do there?
It's not just that he's JUST parking in the middle of the street... He's parking in front of the Gallery building which is where the IRS office is. No where is completely safe but the narrow one way doesn't leave many options.
We park in the front like that for the safety and it is regulation. Also we are not to move for any reason while the messenger is in the stop. We are not there for you, you can wait the 5min and the we will leave, relax
