Vice President Biden is facing criticism after telling a crowd in China that he doesn't have a problem with the country's one-child policy.
The vice president addressed the policy while answering a question about the U.S. budget deficit at a university in Chengdu on Sunday. He was trying to explain how China has a looming entitlement crisis on its hands because its strict enforcement of the one-child-per-family rule has essentially eroded the "safety net" for seniors. Fewer children means fewer people earning money and supporting retirees.
But in explaining that concept, Biden appeared to condone China's policy.

We need something like that here, how many times have you been in line behind a woman of color and 8 or 9 kids and she is buying steak, real butter, packaged ready to eat foods, soda, chips, loads of snacks, ALL ON FOOD STAMPS !
Do you expect for him to tell the truth? He is a politician after all.
The language barrier doesn't stop stupid.
I agree with the 1st post...
We need that here but not because of food stamps...
Because soon we won;t have a place for them to live because land is scarce and not to mention since the USA condones farmers and are forcing them away, we will have food shortages...
Not to mention when out own people are starving, the govt rather send the money to a country who hates us than feed us...
Why should VP Biden have to give any kind of opinion on another country's policy? The Chinese instituted the one-child policy because they had to do something to keep the population in check. They had to do what they had to do. As has been suggested, maybe we need to have some sort of similar policy.
