This is an excellent feature. I really like the recent additions of the word of the day and the weather.
Suggestion box item: Figure out a way to report local sports scores, meaning little league type and schools. It would need to be self-reported by coaches or league directors but it would be a big draw for the site.

I'll give you another new feature. Have a forum where people ask try to get services from local companies. For example, many of the local landscapers who are "voted best" are only interested in the big jobs. Once they have done the install, forget service. They make commitments and promises and never show.
We need companies that will do the smaller jobs too.
