Is Fluoride Good For You?

Joe,

Flouride is a poison which is being added to public drinking water (bathing water) and being force delivered to the population.  It is a by-product of industry.  Most people know very little about flouride and I thought this article may be appreciated by some of your readers.

Flouride has been one of the top things in healthcare that has occurred. Children's dental decay has dropped tremendously. Please go to the ADA (american Dental Association) website Ada.org to get information that is truthful and reliable.

Articles like the one sited is completely irresponsible.

We have always declined flouride drops for our children when the were younger and gasp, we have well water too.
My oldest child is the only one who has ever had the foam flouride at the dentist, and guess what? No cavaties to date, all healthy gums too.

Wow really? This world is full of idiots but this is at the top of the list. Our kids are now dependent on nebulizers and breathing medications because of the poor air quality (mainly smoking houses and kerosene burners)and you are worried about Flouride? If you don't want it then let the water sit for an hour or two and it will bubble right on out. Duh.

fluoride is more poisonous than lead and just slightly less poisonous than arsenic. It is a cumulative poison that accumulates in bone over the years. According to the Physicians Desk Reference, "in hypersensitive individuals, fluorides occasionally cause skin eruptions such as atopic dermatitis, eczema, or urticaria. Gastric distress, headache, and weakness have also been reported. These hypersensitive reactions usually disappear promptly after discontinuation of the fluoride."

the key to that 1:22 is "in hypersensitive individuals" this is the case with many substances from your morning coffee to the gluten used in bread. Darn near everything under the sun has some sort of reaction in "in hypersensitive individuals". We cannot eliminate things that are for the greater good based on "in hypersensitive individuals". What's next, banning peanut butter because of peanut allegeries? Don't laugh, some elementary schools have already taken that step and will not allow you to send peanut butter sandwishes to school with your own child.

It didn't say exclusively hypersensitive individuals your cherry picking words trying to say it's not poison. There is a reason they banned this practice in England. This could be the reason for the dramatic rise in autism.

We learned that fluoride is a poison that accumulates in our bones. It has been associated with cancer in young males; osteoporosis; reduced I.Q.; and hip fractures in the elderly, to name a few. George Orwell would have been dazzled by the promotion of this toxic by dental and public health officials and concurrently, the avoidance of this issue by the environmental community. We think it has a lot to do with the sordid 50-year history of the promotion of fluoridation by the U.S. Department of Public Health and the American Dental Association. Rather than acknowledge the accumulating evidence of fluoride's threat to human health, they have en-trenched themselves in a position that has produced tactics that include the harassment of scientists and dentists who speak out.

The Nazis used flouride to "dumb down" the population.
