FEMA Preparing For Natural Disaster In Central U.S.?

It seems that FEMA is preparing for another earthquake - a  catastrophic disaster event within the New Madrid Fault System for a survivor population of 7M to be utilized for the sustainment of life during a 10-day period of operations.

Where  is the New Madrid Fault?

The last time it happened the Mississippi River ran backwards.

What do they know that we don't? Hmmm.

The question isn't "What do they know that we don't"? The question is "Why are we letting these imbeciles run our government?"

If the successful bidder can sell these for $2.50 per meal (doubtful it will be that low if you read all the requirements) then that's over a third of a billion dollars!

They are only required to have a 36 month shelf life. So if the "big one" doesn't hit within 3 years, they throw all the food out and I suppose the government lets another contract for another third of a billion dollars.

Idiots! Any questions as to why our country is going broke?
