Criminals In Your Neighborhood?

Just put in a street name & your whole neighborhood map will pop up.

Every place you see a red balloon or thumb tack is the home of a convicted felon.

Just hover your mouse over an icon & not only will the name come up, but also the crime they were convicted of.

Share with your friends . . . safety first.

There are only a few on the West Side. I figured it would be a carpet of red dots. I think their info is incomplete.

For android phones use "safe neighborhood" app. Works great and will integrate with google maps based on your current location

9:19 I was actually commenting because the website is not a reliable sole source. It can be used as an additional tool but it surely does not include all offenders. I also cross checked with other sites and there are inconsistancies between the three sites.

The best advice is know your neighbors and check court records for any one interacting with your children.

Joe you might want to investigate this site further before promoting it. I checked every single name that was listed for my area and NONE of the names came up in the MD court system records. There were even 3 listed as sexual offenses and NONE of those were in court records or listed on the Sex Offenders Registry.

This is a cool website but I agree I always check court records also.

Yes. Yes. Thank you elaborately pontificating on the point I was making, or trying to make, in a "tongue in cheek" manner.

It's BOGUS! I live in a rural area and it shows about 15 hits, all of them in the middle of fields, woods, or abandoned properties.

The one on the SU campus is very curious.

I'm just glad the street walkers have been put back in their hole in recent months. I live off 13 and had to deal with this mess. Kudos SPD!
