Steve Hammond Is Absolutely CLUELESS!

WBOC covered the old Fire Station tonight. Here's the catch. After they expressed the building could be sold for $100,000.00, Steve came back and asked the reporter, didn't someone else offer more than double that price, why didn't the City consider that offer.

The reporter came back and stated the City had certain ideas for the building and that offer didn't comply. BULL CRAP!

WBOC absolutely 100% knew for a FACT that my offer came more than a YEAR before they created the now well known RFP. THEY COVERED IT UP. WBOC follows Salisbury News every minute of the day and quite frankly that was by far the poorest level of reporting I have seen yet here on the Shore.

No doubt WBOC is pissed at me for exposing their broadcast problems. In fact, we waited until 6 PM tonight to see the news on channel 16, (instead of 21) guess what, IT WAS EVEN WORSE!

2011 is just around the corner. One way or another, Salisbury News will have its biggest impact on the local MSM in 2011 than any year before. Clearly the pay check is more important than ethics or truth at WBOC.

I tried to watch it but the picture broke up so I changed the channel.

PAC 14 is another one that is interested only in the money. It is very interesting everytime a hot topic is to be discussed by the council their internet stream just happens to be down. Tonights error message "server could not be found". Imagine that!

Lets do away with PAC 14 and the Phil Tilghman era--no more tax money going to it now or ever...talk to Rick Pollit and all the members of the county council.

wboc sucks,, every morning they sign on with " You are watching WBOC in high defintion",,,So 2008,,, AND...this somehow makes it better,, the reporting is horribile,, after about 5 minutes time to turn it. If not for Lacey and Elien there would be NOTHING.
Ever notice how Jimmy introduces everyone,,, Kelly with the Pen,, Have some fun,, Watch Robin Meade..

What would WBOC be covering up? They said that someone (you) offered twice the $$ AND the city council didn't accept the offer because they didn't like the ideas YOU had for the building. I don't see them covering anything up. You are just upset that they didn't mention you by name Joe....
* I'm sure this message won't get posted.

anonymous 8:41, are you hardheaded or just stupid?

Let me say this for the very last time. My offer was more than TWO years ago BEFORE they created a RFP. Back when they discussed selling it, THERE WERE NO RULES.

By the way, since when does the seller have the right to demant what can or can't be in there. You can't discriminate against a black person wanting to purchase a home in a white neighborhood. This one is still going to bite them in the rear, you just wait and see.

They created the RFP only AFTER I made the $250,000.00 offer. It will all come out in Court.

As an outsider looking in it appears there is a lot of butt kissing that goes on on the shore. Not saying everyone does but the actions of MSM, politicians, council members, mayors, school boards make it appear as if the whole pat my back and I will pat yours is alive and thriving in small town USA. Life would be so much better if those that step out of the box and don't care to ruffle feathers were the ones making decisions and running things in certain towns.

I also find it interesting how they never mentioned Comegys stating he's never allow the sale of that building to Joe. They made it sound as if the buyer with more then double the offer didn't fit in the scheme of what the council wanted. Now why would Joe file documents if they said on the record they wouldn't sell it to him. Hammond should have said something about that. Get them Joe.

Had you been black and made that offer before the RFP, then NAACP would be in your living room tonight with a Civil Liberties representative going over the details of the forth coming lawsuit. To bad your a honkey white bread Italian.
