Wicomico County Executive Richard M. Pollitt, Jr., announced that the Wicomico County Council voted to lift the burning ban that he ordered on July 7, 2010. The action occurred at the regular Council meeting of October 5, 2010.
Residents are urged to contact the Wicomico County Health Department to determine if a permit is needed for open-air burning.
