Doesn't it seem odd to anyone that they start the fundraising AFTER they start building the firehouse?? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?
It would have been even sillier to tear the old one down before they could start a new one.
Oops, did they do that?
2:19 The fire company has funds to build the new firehouse in other accounts. The money raised from this fundraiser will go directly to this project so that some of those other accounts don't need to be depleted as much.

Every time I go to Ocean City and pay for parking or the parking tickets I've received, I've already given to the OC Fire Department!I suggest they use some of this money to build their new Firehouse...

Anon 5:01, another uninformed poster. The firehouse in West Ocean City is being built by the volunteer arm of the fire department, which is not being funded by your illegal parking.
