TROOPERS CHARGE MAN WITH CDS POSSESSION

On September 3, 2010 at 2329 hours, A Trooper from the Salisbury Barrack of the Maryland State Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Sixty Foot Road near Rohm Road in Pittsville. During the stop, the Trooper subsequently arrested the driver, Daniel Herbert Alloway, 60, of Pasadena, for DUI. A search of his person and vehicle revealed several grams of MARIHUANA along with more than 20 schedule III and IV prescription pills that were not prescribed to him. Alloway was transported to WCDC and charged with Possession of MARIHUANA, paraphernalia and possession of schedule III and IV narcotics. He is awaiting a hearing with the District Court Commissioner.
