Early Voting Starting Off Well!

On Friday, September 3rd, 229 Wicomico voters availed themselves of early voting.  There were 116 voting in the GOP primary, 113 in the Democratic primary.  There was one provisional ballot cast in the GOP primary.

This may not seem like a lot of voters, and you would be right.  However, given that this is the first time we have seen early voting in Maryland I was actually encouraged (although I am an opponent of early voting).  As usual, Anthony Gutierrez and the good folk at the Wicomico Board of Elections have done an excellent job.

It was surprizing to voting officials to see that Obama and Franken are way ahead in the polls already.
A spokesmen for ACORN said that a new batch of early votes was just found in the trunk of Al Sharptons car.

Of course you're an opponent of early voting, GA. Every Republican I know likes to suppress votes. It's in your nature to want less people involved in the process. That's less people to convince with your propaganda.
