The hippie types think they can talk they're way out of anything with kindness and weed.
I think there is a nice waterfall they wanted to see. However, I also heard that they were on the phone to friends bragging "guess where we are". In these GPS times this was not an accident, but just very poor judgement by some young adventurers. I would say they have learned their lesson by now, but international politics is in play.
