The Maryland Classified Employees Association will announce its formal endorsement of Bob Ehrlich for Governor on Thursday in Baltimore. MCEA represents more than 10,000 current and former state employees. Bob Ehrlich has long supported fair treatment for state workers, and currently opposes any further furlough days being imposed in efforts to balance the state budget. The endorsement will occur in front of the State Office Complex on Preston Street with numerous MCEA members and officials taking part.
