While students were off for the summer, schools stayed busy with Department of Facility Services projects to maintain and improve school facilities for students and staff, in keeping with the Master Plan strategic priorities of Safe Learning Environment, Effective and Efficient Operations, and High Student Achievement.
The closing of the old James M. Bennett High and the opening of the new JMB was the most visible project, but work was done throughout the school system. Click on the summerprojects2010 pdf to see the facility work done at your school or schools.
