I would like to compliment Ivan Barkley and the SPD on catching the ATM thief.

Because of their swift action in getting the video out, the public was able to help.

I have noticed real improvements since Chief Barkley came aboard. This is one example.

I hope he will continue as our chief. While we still have crime and the department seems to still have issues to be worked out, I think Chief Barkley has done a good job in less than a year.

I felt I had to say something because our police because a good job should get recognized even if everything is not perfect.

Gomez has a long history of problems. He's been in and out of jail and maybe this time he'll stay.
