Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On August 2, 2010 at approximately 10:15 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Walmart Department Store on North Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the officers met with store security who advised the officer that store employees had observed the below listed suspect take clothing from the store without making any attempts at payment. The clothing was recovered and returned to the store.


ARRESTED: Juvenile, 16 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Theft (under $ 100)
DISPOSITION: Released to parent/guardian

On August 2, 2010 at approximately 4:39 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant charging the suspect with theft. The warrant was obtained by the officer following the investigation of the theft of cellular calling cards from the Walmart Store on North Salisbury Boulevard.


The suspect originally attempted to use a fraudulent credit card to purchase the calling cards and when the credit card failed, the suspect fled from the store with the stolen property.

Attempted theft (under $ 1000)
Attempted ID theft
Attempted credit card impersonation
Attempt to obtain property by counterfeit
Attempted use of false credit card
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking
