Delaware State Police Friday August 13, 2010 investigated a domestic complaint on Old Stage Road Delmar, Delaware.
Troopers responded to the residence and contacted the victim a 43 year old Delmar woman. Troopers learned that the victim and Olen T. White-31 also of Delmar, Delaware became involved in a verbal argument over the relationship issues.
The argument escalated as White became irate and began throwing items around the residence and damaging items belonging to the victim. The victim seeking help attempted to call family members however White took the phone away from her and damaged it as well. The victim next entered a bedroom and locked the door only to have White kick open the door. When the victim attempted to leave the residence White again prevented her free movement by blocking the exit. Troopers next were advised that White grabbed a 12 gauge pump action Mossberg shotgun and racked the action attempting to intimidate the victim.
The victim shortly thereafter fled the residence and was able to contact the police. State Police arrested White without incidence at his residence for the above listed offenses. White was incarcerated into Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $9,000 cash bail.

Well, Well, Well....I see it finally caught up to ole Olen. Olen is a member of the Delmar FD and is one of the most disrespectful people i have ever met. Hope justice serves him well!!
Let me say this...and I have known Olen for a lot of years...while I am very sorry to hear about this incident, there is a very good side to Olen. Yes, he is with the DFD and was one of the brave men that saved the life and limb of LeeLee Jones. Don't bash because someone made a mistake...let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Olen--I'm gonna pray that you get this one rightmy friend.I saw you last night on the road right before this happened apparently. Wish I had stopped you to talk...those minutes might have changed everything.
Good lord, what is he doing with some old woman!? I'm 33 and would never considering dating anyone older than 35 (or younger than 23).
Sucks that we don't get his side of the story. Either way unless he found her in bed with another man at that instant, then it would have been best just to walk away.
Women are just not worth doing time for.

Well I have known Olen for a long time and he is like a brother to me. Olen is the most respected person I know. There are always 2 sides to every story and Lisa has issues too not just Olen. She has taunted him before that has lead to words between them so all I am goin say is don't throw stones at glass houses. Olen I'm praying for you. Keep ur head up bro.

well theres always two sides to anything and i wouldn,t judge to quick the same could happen to anyone nobody is perfect ive known olen for years and hes a great guy and hes always there when yon need some help or someone to talk to hes a great friend im glad hes one of mine
Did I hear this rumor correctly? A trial was held this week whereby a past employee of Thomas Ruark Inc. was charged with stealing over $800,000 and got 15 years in prison from Judge Beckstead? If so, we are surprised we haven't seen it published?
Olen we are praying for you. You are a great person always there when someone needs you. Keep your head up buddy .
Olen is a great person. He would give you the shirt off of his back. He would not do anything to harm another human being or himself. He is caring and a great friend. If you knew Olen you would know that this is not something he would do. There is more to this story then what is written on here. You shouldn't judge someone on something you don't have a clue about.

First of all, 43 is the new 33. Second of all, Olen White is a POS and he will get his his. Hopefully. We'd be glad to see him gone.

This is not the first time Olen has put his hands on a women. I have seen him in action and dared him to touch my family member again. To those who said there are two sides to every story you area right, however no matter what his side is a real man doesn't put his hands on a women and sure as hell doesn't need to threaten them with a gun. Olen thinks he is a man because he prays on women who are weaker than him. HE is not a MAN, just a lost little boy who needs anger management and needs to learn how to resepect a woman. I hope he learns a lession, however I would venture to say it will happen again.
Olen never threaten her w a gun once he realized she wasn't goin to talk w him he walked away he was putting gun in cabinet never aimed it or anything it had been out because of so issues they had w ppl tryin to break in.

You all are so rude! You don't know the whole story. Olen and Lisa were both wrong. They had an arguement and it went the wrong way. He never actually touched her. (I've spoken with both Olen and Lisa) How can you call him horrible names when he helped save Lee Lee who is doing amazingly well thanks to the brave and amazing men there to save her. We all make mistakes. He made a big big one but still. He's been through alot. I'm saying he isn't responisble because he is but there are two sides to every story. And at 9:47 AM, what's wrong with Wayne? There is nothing wrong with the DFD. Yes some members may have tempers but doesn't everyone? Delmar is a GREAT place to live. The community lives for the children and the students at the school. The DFD supports every team. When they won state champions for football and the Little League. Come on now, Everyone needs to chill. These fire fighters save the town and run in while everyone else is running out.

isnt wayne the idiot that tried to jump off the bridge yeah nothing wrong with the dfd and now with olens situation the fire department needs to make classes mandatory for ff along with physical and psychological testing and i love delmar lived here for many years not the town i have a problem with it is the officials
