Paul McCartney would like President Obama's critics to let him be.
“I’m a big fan, he’s a great guy. So lay off him, he’s doing great,” the British songsmith said on Tuesday, ABC News reported.
This year’s recipient of the Library of Congress’s Gershwin Prize for Popular song, McCartney is set to perform at the White House Wednesday evening and be feted by fellow musicians Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, the Jonas Brothers, Elvis Costello and Herbie Hancock, among others.

I love it when famous people from other countries tell us what a great job our President is doing. Really, Paul? Care to elaborate on his wonderful accomplishments so far and how the US is so much better off than when Bush was in office? Care to elaborate on how he's fixing all the problems from the previous admin. that have plagued us so? Maybe its all the invites to the White House for parties that makes him such a great guy.

Actually the Brits do know how to get it right. Following the resignantion of Gordon Brown (Labour Party), England has Conservative and Liberals working together and they manage to do so effectively.

Yeah right. That is why the U.K. is going broke from entitlements such as health care. Now even Canada is realizing that the whole health care entitlements are impossible to pay for and are discussing cuts.

Why do stupid Americans think it is smart to suggest that a person leave America because they don't like oppression from this evil government.
The whole point of communicating is to exchange ideas. Some of us believe our Country is in peril.
Some of us want to share what we have learned about this secret government who is gradually eroding our freedoms.
Why does any one think it necessary to tell me or anyone else to leave America? Why would we want to leave? Most of us want the Country back that we learned about in school and in books.
Stop telling us to leave. This is America where we used to have the right to free speech and the right to public dissent.
Maybe you are in the wrong country? I don't know. But THIS COUNTRY is about freedom.
