A while back, you posted a 'review' on the new Chinese restaurant in Fruitland, Lucky Star. Many comments were posted-- some good, some not so good, but the point was made that they had just opened, and it was suggested that we give them a month or two to get their Peking Ducks in a row..
Well, we've eaten there twice in the last month, most recently yesterday. And I have to say, that we were delighted.
The food was very good, the atmosphere quite nice-- very clean and well-decorated-- and the staff was very friendly and eager to please.
We ate lunch, and the two of us were out the door for $21, including the tip, and we had a doggy bag.
I'd be interested to hear if our experience was unusual, but I doubt it was.
We've really missed Beijing since they closed, but I think we've found our new favorite place.

There sushi is top notch. The servers are friendly and very quick with the service. We have stopped going to Hunan Palace as we think Luck Star is much better.
I agree, the food has always been excellent everytime i eat there. Living in Fruitland, i have found a great place to eat Chinese food. also they deliver and the other day from the time getting off the phone, it was to my door in 11 mins. Now that is good service
Hunan Palace is still better.
I forgot to mention-- after the meal, when they brought the check, they also served us a nice little bowl of watermelon chunks. Very classy.

I also agree. I have eaten there quite a few times. They are great. The food is good and the service is great. The first time I went, I had to go in with my 2 young children to pick up the food. The gentleman who rang me up noticed I had 2 hands to hold going out and carried the food to my car! I was impressed! Good job, Lucky Star!!
Lucky Star is a very good place to eat. Check with the Health Dept. and you will find several other Chinese restaurants have bad reviews.
We gave them a try, food is awesome. Service is even better. Better then Hunan Palace.
We went a couple of weekends ago and were impressed. Service was great, food was wonderful. We'll definitely be going back
9:33 must be an employee from Hu Nans. You can like them, thats fine. I agree with Jim, I enjoy going to Lucky Star. The owners are very friendly. Hu Nans has never been known for their staff being friendly. I eat at Lucky Star at least (yes, at least) once a week. If I can't make it, I have them deliver. Even the delivery is friendly. Great way to fun a business.
No, Im not an employee at Hunan Palace. I have an opinion just like you do @$$hole. By the way.. HUNAN is one word.
Where is this resturant at I would love to give a try.

You stay at HooNan's. That way, we won't have to put up with you at Lucky Star.

well i went to lucky star tonite and all i can say is WOW
i ordered a main dish and lo mein as a side
the lo mein had more meat in it then many main dished you get at other places.
no way i coulod eat it all
btw while there i overheard a women gettign take out say she had read about the place on a local news site

The new Hunan Palace up North Salisbury is my new fave place. Everyone check them out. Theyre food is great and its soo nice inside.
Super nice employees,real clean and beautifully decorated, quick delivery,and Excellent place to eat if you dine in or out!!!! Would highly recommend!!!!
