Suspicious Package At Mardela Post Office

While the MSM can't seem to get their information correct and while we planned on broadcasting this information at 6 PM tonight, my Wireless Card says it will take 4 hours to upload the show so we will not have a show tonight, yet we will provide the information here for this particular story.

George Merrill Collins dropped off a suspicious suitcase loaded with the above brochures. You may recall Mr. Collins HERE in an article we provided not that long ago where he was tagging his own home.

Mr. Collins was arrested this morning and evaluated by PRMC. Go figure, he was already released. I have personally been in contact numerous times with the Delaware State Police for harassment from Mr. Collins and today I learned I am not the only person this man has been abusing.

I have received some 100+ text messages, most of which were very verbally abusive. The DSP was getting ready to make contact with Mr. Collins today when they learned he had just been arrested. That clearly didn't last very long.

This man needs some serious medical attention and while I feel sorry for this man I will no longer tolerate his abusive behavior. This man has been leaving items in our Mail Box and the state of DE will not stand for this any longer.

I'm told the Bomb Squad had to actually take the suitcase out and blow it up and this guy is actually back on the street, even though they know he's not all with it. Great job PRMC.

To WBOC, now you have a name but you won't have it for your 6:00 PM Broadcast. You're welcome to use it at 11:00 PM though.

Hey Bonehead, that info came from the MSM, Idiot. We even provided a link back to their original article. JT, you're such an Idiot.

Wow I can't believe he was already released, he definately appears to be mentally disturbed. Not the type of person I really want out in the general population.

is this the idiot that lives on waller road with various items in his house and writing on his house?

Yes, that's why we provided the LINK to the other story.

Dang, I thought this was a joke until I actually read it. Just leave him alone and keep an eye on him. If he hurts himself or others, make a call.

6:36pm you are an idiot for commenting a stupid question without reading the entire story

And what should PRMC have done? Can they hold a person against their will without a court order?

Anonymous said...

it doesn't take a psych degree to tell this guy is a danger to himself and/or others! I guess they're just waiting for him to come totally unhinged so our area can make the national news again???

PRMC lets all the mentally ill people go !

CH said...

TDP, yeah that's why the mental health unit is usually so busy right? Because they let everyone go.

DEAR CH - If you and your family would take your meds maybe the unit would not be so busy !

Dear TDP....LMAO!

CH said...

Haha, how witty of you. Sorry I won't be stooping to your level and making any sort of personal jabs. Some of us who know better can make statements without being ignorant.

He also tagged all the new picnic tables at the salisbury park.. what a waste of air...

PRMC is allowed to hold a patient 72 hrs for evaluation. The only time they do hold them is when PRMC is threatened by the patient's own psychiatrist.

Crappy WBOC is not interested because it is local news. They are way to busy trying to figure out what else they can do to make them look like “big market TV” instead of reporting. Maybe the helicopter can be used to show us some pretty shot and advertise. I’m more interested in that – NOT!

I wouldn't call WBOC crappy. I'm sorry but do you realize how many people are stalked daily??? Is that really newsworthy? Collins obviously has numerous problems including obsessions with several newspeople, which I'm sure WBOC has been well aware of. If they reported on all of the crazies out there then that would encompass every broadcast. I personally want to hear both local and national news, not a summary of all of lunatics running around.

The man should be picked up and evaluated like anyone doing these things should be.
However on the other hand , dont you think the police and fire dept , bomb squad or whoever are going just a bit far.
Do they really have to blow up everything they find?
It looked like a 10 cent suitcase to me.
Please , is our police and fire personnel so stupid that they think an international terrorist would attack mardela post office, boy i sure hope not.
I think it is more like job security for the police, lets make a mole hill out of a mountain and try to scare everyone to death. So we will be sure to have a job.

Just wondering how a text message can be "verbally abusive"? Police officers are allowed to take someone into custody for an emergency psychiatric evaluation if the police officer personally observed or heard actions which would have the police officer believe the person is a physical danger to himself or others. The police officer must take the person immediately to the hospital where the person is examined by two doctors, with one being certified in the field of mental health. Based on those evaluations, the doctors decide whether to commit the person to an institution for further evaluation and treatment. Tagging one's house and leaving a suitcase filled with flyers may indicate a person isn't playing with a full deck, but isn't indicative that they want to harm themself or others.

he also has left something at hebron savings bank in hebron. some kind of box or cabinet with writing all over it.

Well he did a pretty good job with the flyer. Colorful, kept within the lines, etc.
