DELMAR POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE

Incident: Malicious Destruction of Property
Location: 100 block of N. Bi-State Blvd., Delmar, DE
Date: March 31, 2010
Arrested: Joshua James, white male, 19, Seaford, DE

On 03-31-2010
an officer of the Delmar Police Dept. responded to the 100 block of N. Bi-State Blvd., Delmar DE in reference to a white male that had caused damage to a vehicle. The officer located and stopped the suspect identified as Joshua James. James fled from the officer at which time Wicomico County Sheriffs K-9 unit responded to conduct a track. With the assistance of several residence of Delmar who saw James running, James was subsequently located and detained by Maryland State Troopers who were assisting Delmar with the search. James was also wanted on warrants from Sussex County Superior Court, and Justice of the Peace Court #4. James is being held in the Sussex County Detention Center on $10,177.00 secured bond.
