Michael Moore's Movie

Joe:

"First off I am glad to see that the hit and run victims are going to be alright.

But I have to say that I rarely encounter such an amusing experience as I have tonight on SBYnews regarding some of the postings that are still rolling-in on the Civic Center Parking lot. I know you must also be chuckling - as we both know how probably how that parking lot is going to play out.

Also, my wife and I just got through watching the Michael Moore movie and I'm absolutely fascinated at his perception of America. There is alot of truth in what he shows and I have to say that I'm not surprised at Goldman Sachs, AIG, Fanny Mae, Freddy Mac's CEOs. Especially our congressmen's behavior like Dodd, Franks, among many others.

Cheers . . and thanks for the heads-up on the movie. We really did enjoy it."

Editors Note: Folks, I am pleading with you, please watch this movie! Did you know that the top 1% of the wealthiest people in America have more money than all 99% combined? It's true. However, the one thing the rich do NOT have is YOUR VOTE!

Take the time to find this movie, Capitalism, A Love Story. Get educated, then lets take our Country back!

Joe,
You're not advocating Robin Hoodism, I hope!

anonymous 7:53, I'll tell you what. YOU watch this movie and then come back and tell me what you think. Until then, quit playing games and making assumptions, with all due respect.

The bottom 50% of Americans do not pay any income tax either and most votes now come by the way of welfare households. We need to stop demizing money and allow everyone to earn it and keep what they earn.

Glen Beck has exposed 1000 times over more FACTS than Moore has.

Someone can claim to be a Conservative but how did they vote for the bailout? Forget liberal or conservative. Does someone believe in a Laissez Faire, free market approach to government economic policy or do they believe in government interference?

I went out and bought it yesterday at Barnes & Noble. I watched it last night. While I fundamentally disagree with Moore that capitalism is bad, I totally agree that the large banks have been able to succesfully "buy" politicians and continue to do so. I believe that greed has been the motivation behind our elected officials manipulating our nation by creating laws and adopting policies that permit this type of behavior and hides it as much as possible from "We The People". I believe that it involves both major parties equally and that political parties are, in fact, a tool used to successfully divide the American people. This method has been so successful that most people have (until recently) been so confused and so partisan because of the efforts of the greedy politicians that we've let the government become way too powerful. Now many of us have been awakened. Grass roots efforts to peacefully take back our country have sprung up everywhere. There are some who believe that there will be no peaceful taking back of our country and they prepare for what they believe is an inevitable 2nd American Revolution. There are many who doubt that either way will be successful. Many felt the same way about the 1st American Revolution - they were wrong. As the peaceful efforts fail - just as they failed in the 1700's - the frustration of the people will grow. The number of people willing to take "other" route will grow. The American spirit will not continue to allow our government to ignore them. The American spirit lives and breathes freedom and liberty. We NEED these things to survive like we need oxygen. We The People are tired of holding our breath waiting for things to change. Now we must do it ourselves.

If you wanna see the quasi-sequel to this film go see Saw 6. The killer, Jigsaw, goes after mortgage lenders and the healthcare industry.
