My best friend ever, Petey, my dog whom I got Feb. 12 many years ago.
RIP my dear friend. I miss you SO much!
I am actively looking for a small breed dog because Petey passed in Nov. 2008 and I am ready to find another best friend. Linda Lugo has done such a great job that they have almost no puppies left which is a GOOD thing so I have included animal rescues in my search. If anyone has any small breed puppies, PLEASE let me know! Mr. Joe knows how to contact me.
Happy Valentine's Day to all!

(I love it that no one said flowers or jewelry.) For me, it was a card bought by my then-husband who was never sentimental & thought V-Day was stupid. On the envelope he wrote: "This is how I feel after 4 yrs. of being with you" & the card said everything he hadn't ever told me. 30 yrs. later I still remember that card.

The gift of sight! I had never been to an eye doctor, my boyfriend arranged an eye exam and bought me my first pair of glasses. I could see clearly for the first time since early childhood. He is now my husband!! :)

The gift of salvation! God's love isn't reserved for just one day a year. He thought about me BEFORE he ever formed me in my mothers womb. It's an eternal love. Priceless!

We won a drawing from country 94(yes many years ago), it was for a catered candle lit dinner for 2 on Valentines day which my neighbors graciously let us have at their house while they baby sat our 3 young children.

One of my fondest memories is actually the day after Valentine's when my Dad would buy 30 boxes of candy at half price and deliver to all the special ladies in his life. He said we got a bigger box that way! LOL I miss that!

Joe,

I never got this but always wanted it. Dinner cooked by my man 30 days spread out throughout the year. Easy dinner, salad, good bottle of wine, good conversation. Still hoping for it.

Saturday we went to Chincoteague, they had a Death by Chocolate Tour of the downtown merchants. You went to each merchant got the answer for the trivia question on your score card and got it stampled by the merchant and received chocolate at each place. Then a the end of the day at the last place they had drawings for prizes. We did not stay the whole day, but had lunch at Bill's Seafood (my favorite place on the island). Then headed home for an afternoon rest. Then he surprised with dinner at Station 7 in Pittsville. This day was a total surprise from the beginning. He would not tell me where we were going, just to dress warmly and wear walking shoes. This is was much better than flowers, jewelry or just dinner. We go to spend a whole day together, just the two of us.
