Stranded In Delmar

Do you ever feel like sometimes God likes to mess with you a little? After two storms worth of helping others out with the snow blower, I finally get home to take care of my own drive way and the pull string on the blower breaks and I'm now I'm the one out of luck! I can't get it going so I can't get any of my own cars out to get to the fundraiser tonight. Life can just be such a "Beach" sometimes. Tomorrow's another day, right.

I think you have done enough JOE, rest.

Go and figure.
Sounds like my kind of luck.

Everything happens for a reason Joe, you were meant to stay home tonight :)

That "beach" has a way of coming into all our lives. Tomorrow is another day. You need your rest so you can handle the tasks ahead of you. Go to bed early!!!

GOD's way of telling you to rest already. That pic is hot by the way.

I was sitting here thinking. I wonder how fast each one of these snow removal companies your advertising will stop by your home and clear the way for you to get out. Will you let us know if they do Joe.

God's way of telling you to go relax and Thanks for taking care of your brothers and sisters!

Ever hear of, No good deed goes unpunished?
Also, everything for a reason?
Chill dude. You need it.

I am sorry Joe. If I had the ability to remove it then I would be there in a heart beat. I agree take the night and rest.
Again thank you for keeping the Delmarva area informed.

I agree, someone's trying to tell you something. Stay Home!

Now I have a question-I'm buying a snow blower!!! What make and where should I go? I would prefer a locally owned dealer.

This snow blower is headed back to Northern Virginia where it will get a bit more use than here on the Eastern Shore. I'm tired of my neighbor back there "beachin" because he thinks he's obligated to shovel my sidewalk as well as his own.

As John McEnroe says,"You cant be serious???" No one has stepped forth to help Joe after all that he has done!!! Cannot believe that. C'mon guys, man up and help this guy jackkcharl@aol.com

Sorry to hear given all you do. That said you deserve the rest. I'll be the first to admit, I don't always agree with you, but you show your true heart when you get out in the community. Stay home, sit with a book and enjoy the evening off.

I agree with 7:09 !

It would be nice for Joe to wake up tomorrow and find his driveway cleared. I would certainly help ya. I got stuck in my driveway and a stranger help me out today. I never got the man names. But, GOD bless that man.

So everyone knows, Bobby Short from Waterworks called and said he'd be by, (get this) at 10:15 this evening to plow my driveway.

He appreciates our putting his business on a list in which he has received numerous jobs over the past few days and wants to "give back." He also knows what we've been doing for others and wants to help make sure we can get back out there toimorrow and help more people.

That being said, Bob's Automotive wants me to get the snow blower over to him first thing in the morning to get it repaired. Good people doing great things for our community. Thanks Guys, as always.

Thanks Bobby.

Joe, You are a great leader. You make people want to do the right thing . I am glad you will be able to get out tomorrow . You should do something for yourself. We all need some down time .

TDP, today was yet another very rewarding day. I'll have a Post up about it some time tomorrow but one elderly woman today wanted to pay us so badly, we refused her money. We even tried sneaking out of there but she was watching us like a hawk. Anyhow, she yelled from her front door, I can afford to pay you, let me pay you. I said, no Maam, but thank you very much. Just do something good for someone else.

She yelled, you wait just a minute young man, I want to at least give you a hug. We accomplished a lot today but again, I'll save that for tomorrow.

7:23 Good luck finding a snow blower from here to easton! I've been looking for one. From all our research if you are going to be moving snow on dirt or gravel you want a stage 2 snowblower. Good luck, if you find any let me know where. Thanks, Cathy-Jo

I can do you one better. My husband had plowed the roads for 31 hours straight before coming home. He got 20 feet into our driveway and got stuck. Had to be dug out!

Any other time, I would sign my name. Don't want him embarrassed today :)

9:06, maybe you could give your husband our thanks and that would make him feel a little better, okay?

Thanks Joe for all you do, for digging out my sister and her neighbors. Don't know what they would have done without you.
God bless you real good!
