Mike Lewis, Davis Ruark, Joe Holloway, Ernie Leatherberry, Sherman from Shorebirds, 2 employees from WCAC, a member of Salisbury Vol-Fire Dept. Any money to the WCAC helps!

Plus all tip money is going to them. 50/50 raffles and basket raffle as well. Mitchell's Martial Arts is coming out and passing out Kid's Safety coupon for a class. Plus they are doing board breaking for kids.

I'm teary eyed reading this. We are blessed to have such caring leaders in our community. Way to go to Applebees and everyone involved. This little girl had no idea how many people she's touched. I would like to go if the weather permits.

I think it is wonderful and very admirable that the other surrounding Applebee's have joined the cause and jumped on the bandwagon. That is very touching so many people are reaching out.

Sure hope we can get around come Thursday evening. Love to attend this. Joe can you and your snowblower make me a path to Applebee's after this storm?

I saw a very moving commerical this week on WBOC sponsored by the child advocacy center and some other agencies. It was warning young people about the dangers of online social networking sites and being careful what they post. A young girl was at a restaurant and an older male staff person asked her when she was going to post some new stuff. The girl looked terrified and her name was "Sarah." Very chilling but it looks like this money will go to good use if it helps make these vulnerable young people think twice about who may be stalking them online.

Too bad the roads are still bad out where I live (wooded development w/long drive) because I would have liked to have attended this. I wish them well!

Joe... where were you last night? I went to Applebee's just to see you.

I think this was a benefit for sarah not Joe. I was hoping it would have been postponed due to the weather conditions. I would have liked to attend.

Anonymous 10:22 people like you are the reason that this blog gets so much negativism. You take a simple little comment and turn it into something more. The benefit was not actually for either it was for WCAC in memory of Sarah. Try and be a little nicer next time. The benefit was a huge success. Seeing such people there as Davis Ruark, Mike Lewis and Fernando Guerrero was so wonderful. Thank you for all your support.
