State Police Detectives Seek Identity Of Burglary Suspect


Location: Harbeson Deli, 26454 Lewes Georgetown Highway, Harbeson, DE

Date of Occurrence: Friday, January 1st 2010, at approximately 2:02 am

Suspect: White male, between 20-30 years old, 5’10”, and approximately 150-165 pounds, wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt.

Resume: Troop 4 Detectives are investigating a burglary that occurred last week at the Harbeson Deli, Sussex County, DE. Early Friday morning Troopers responded to Harbeson Deli in regards to an alarm. Upon arrival Troopers noticed that someone had forced entry through the front door of the business. The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown suspect entered the business by damaging the front door. Once inside the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of cigarettes, and fled.

A Surveillance picture of the suspect was obtained and is attached to this release. Anyone who may recognize this suspect is asked to call Troop 4 Detectives at (302) 856-5850 ext. 214, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800- TIP- 3333.
