Cut off all funding we give to the UN and see how fast they change their tune. Here is one place we could save ALOT of money. They are useless anyway.
the UN was originally set up as an organization to help global conflicts from boiling over. Now they are trying to take our guns away with there agendas. We should stop funding!

COLD DEAD HANDS!!! all I've got to say on this matter.
There's no way the government could disarm the American people. Last time I checked, there were 16 guns per person in this country. I recently talked to a military contractor/manufacturer who said domestic demand actually exceeds exports of small arms! I don't know any men that don't own guns. If they tried to pull that gun grab stuff here, the civil disobedience would be out of control.
The Founding Fathers were very clear. They foresaw, or at least fairly anticipated the evolution of U.S. and global society; and saw the opportunity for tyranny to reign within our borders without the ability of the grassroots to defend the integrity of freedom.
Take all guns from criminals, worldwide, first. Then the military, worldwide. Then we'll talk after a mutually agreed upon interval. Talk, that is.
If it all works out here on Earth, which it might after about 200 more years, then we'll only be threatened by invading extra-terrestrials.
