The Weapons Used In Iraq - Afghanistan Have Far Reaching Effects

UK, December 12, 2009, (Pal Telegraph) - We have seen the terrible consequences to human life and the environment that has been caused by weapons that contain uranium components. Genetically speaking the US and UK have destroyed the DNA of the Iraqi people as well as causing catastrophic effects on the environment.

Presidents and Prime Ministers really have a lot to answer for when they started the wars in the Balkans, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Gaza and now Pakistan. We are now seeing their continued aggression and intimidation against Iran and North Korea and one wonders that they have up their sleeve.

What we the public do not understand is that these very acts alone and the weapons being used are creating a mass genocide of millions of people around the world. It has become the most evil act imaginable against humankind.

This is from "The Palestine Telegraph" based in the Gaza Strip.

That news organization (if you can call it that) is heavily biased anti-Israel and anti-U.S.
Anything the U.S. does, they are against.

I wouldn't give you a plugged nickel for their prejudiced, irrational hostile opinion.

Are you saying the details of the article are false? Are we using DU weapons or not? If so, are they dangerous or not?

I believe Americans have been long deprived of "news reports" from outside our own country. Our media is owned by a handful of large corporations who are also participants in the military industrial complex. Our media is biased.

What say you?

and our government taxes us so they can send our hard earned dollars over there to support these people! Nice to see the return on our investment!

hahahahahaha

IF this were true, would we not be exposing our military to the risk thus eradicating a portion of our future population. This smells!!

Exactly. The soldiers are ignorant of the dangers!

12:25 PM asked, "What say you?"

1) Yes, I'm saying the details of the article are false.

2) Are we using some ammo that is depleted uranium? Yes, mostly with A-10s.

3) Is it dangerous? Sure, if you eat it.

4) Re: "Americans have been long deprived of 'news reports' from outside our own country" . . .

A) Join the 21st century -- there's hundreds of foreign news outlets available on the internet.

B) "The Palestine Telegraph" is not a valid source for news. They have an ax to grind, and they are doing just that. It is Biased (with a capital 'B').

C) There are plenty of news outlets, some of which hate our government, that would be making a story if this -- if it were true

D) Point out any valid news source, anywhere in the world, that can substantiate any of the claims of this article that claims things like . . .

+ "destroyed the DNA"

+ "mass genocide of millions of people"

+ "genocide of epic proportions"

+ "these weapons are killing people in mass" (speaking of radiation, not bullets penetrating skin)

The entire article is filled with hyperbole, not unlike what Hitler did in the mid-1930s.
