On November 6, 2009 at approximately 6:00 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Community Action Team were conducting an undercover investigation in the area of E. Church St. and Anne St. and were approached by the below listed suspect. The suspect solicited the officers for an act of prostitution and was placed under arrest.
ARRESTED: Amber Marie Hughes, 20 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
Prostitution
Loitering for the purpose of prostitution
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900039614
On November 6, 2009 at approximately 2:10 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant charging the suspect with the possession of controlled dangerous substances on October 9, 2009. On that date officers of the Salisbury Police executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence on Fairground Drive in Salisbury. Located during the execution of the search and seizure warrant was a quantity of suspected marijuana and a quantity of suspected ecstasy. The residence was occupied by the below listed suspect.
ARRESTED: Eric Tyrone Baker, 39 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
Possession of marijuana
Possession of ecstasy
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia (3 counts)
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900039576
On November 6, 2009 at approximately 7:50 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department arrested the below listed suspect for two (2) burglaries to Salisbury businesses. An investigation by Salisbury Detectives revealed that the suspect was responsible for the burglaries to the Thirsty’s convenience store on Snow Hill Road and the Exxon on South Salisbury Boulevard. Both burglaries were committed on November 5, 2009.
ARRESTED: Richard Alan King, 22 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

Second degree burglary (2 counts)
Fourth degree burglary (4 counts)
Theft (under $ 100)

Malicious destruction of property (2 counts)
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900039707
On November 7, 2009 at approximately 12:52 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Sears Department Store at the Centre at Salisbury for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the officers met with store security who advised the officers that the below listed suspect had been observed by store employees taking clothing from the store without making any attempts at payment. The clothing was recovered and returned to the store. When the suspect was searched, incident to arrest, the officers located a quantity of suspected heroin on his person.
ARRESTED: Bernard (nmn) Jones, 42 years of age Cambridge, Maryland
CHARGES:
Theft (under $ 1000)
Possession of heroin
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900039776
On November 8, 2009 at approximately 1:26 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant obtained charging him with the burglary of a residence on Camden Avenue. An investigation by Salisbury Detectives identified the suspect as responsible for a burglary to a Camden Avenue residence on November 3, 2009. The investigation is continuing to other burglaries involving this suspect.
