Expect Ehrlich To Run For Governor In Maryland

With the results just in from Virginia and New Jersey, Republicans swept these races and the President and Democrats have lost valuable ground simply because the President sucks.

Maryland needs Bob Ehrlich back and if he's willing to make a run for it during such challenging times, well, we're lucky to have him and everybody better simply vote for him because O'Malley sucks just as bad as the President.

The state of Maryland is more than failing. They have raised state sales tax and there's still not enough floating around to save their A$$E$. The democrats just spend, spend, spend, HOW'S IT WORKING FOR YOU FOLKS!

Expect some breaking news from the Ehrlich Campaign as it would be my guess he's coming out of the gate at full speed to take on O'Malley.

I was fortunate enough to hear him speak recently and he has unique approach that is straight forward and uses common sense something we need alot more of to turn this country and state around.

I agree with 7:38. I also am a democrat and will vote for Ehrlich.
I would caution my Republican friends not drink the Kool Aid just yet based on elections on VA and NJ. Do not confuse local issues with federal.
VA democratic nominee was an idiot and deserved to lose.

I urge all to consider sending Washington a strong message by dropping your party affiliation.
I was a republican but switched to independent.Untill my former party starts supporting core values and common sense problem solving,I refuse to give them a dime.

It is unfortunate that Ehrlich doesn't have the people skills as O'Malley. He just doesn't get the job done when campaigning as O'Malley does. He makes an entrance in a filled room, takes his seat and unless is approached, he doesn't meet and greet. I am a Republican and if he runs will surely vote for him but I wish he could drop the image of being so darn important. If he runs, he will need every vote and he needs to understand his "better than thou" attitude just doesn't get it.

I agree with 8:27. I have attended many events, both small and large, and nothing ever changes. Ehrlich just has a elitist way about him that turns people off. Will I vote for him against what is happening in MD at this time, for sure I will but I just wish he could be one of the people.

A little sense of humor can be used to destroy O'malley. Erlich can start by thanking O'Malley for off track betting support. He might even call him Gov. Corzine by mistake.

Ummm. I'm not from Maryland, but the Maryland sales tax does affect me because I work and shop in Maryland.
Wasn't the sales tax raised under Ehrlich?

Good! Get that O'DumboMalley out of Maryland, Please........

I'll only vote for him if he loses the toupee.

He would have to agree to repeal the flush tax that he implemented and the sales tax increase that our current Gov implemented to get my vote - otherwise, I'm looking for someone who's willing to cut spending instead of increasing taxes....

I voted for him once and I'll do it again.

No party affiliation. But i wouldn't give Erlich the time of day, let alone a vote.. He screwed this state as bad if not worse than O'malley has.

He has my vote. O'malley has been a huge failure. I voted Dem first time in my life for Marty O. I will never do it again

I met Erlich before and he was personable. Seemed down to earth. I also listen to him on a radio morning talk show every Friday and he seems the same way. I hope he run again.

8:27 and 9:01 I have to disagree with you and I will submit that you are stirring sh!t because I met Ehrlich dozens of times and numerous events and he was the most respected and personable person you could imagine. He was a crowd pleaser and had a standing ovation everywhere he went. The few that refused to stand were idiot dumbocrats. You need to wake up and toss out your Kool Aid. Governor Erhlich was the best governor this state had in over 30 years.

I won't be voting for EITHER one. In this case, there's not even a lesser evil.

I would love to see the former governor run again. I met him once at the Tawes Clam Bake in Crisfield and he was so pleasant and down to earth. More importantly, he will do his best to turn this state around. He beat Gov.Glendening and worked hard to clean up HIS mess so now we need him to clean up O'Malley's spending, etc. Go Ehrlich!!!

No, Omalley is the one that raised the sales tax and Omalley is also the one that has chased so many small businesses out of Md. He is also the one that has hurt Md. car sales by implementing California emissions on all new cars sold im Md. Nov 2010 vant come soon enough for the people of Md. and the country as a whole.

He sits too far on the right for me,look at his old buddy & cohort Steele, he has the Repubs so disorganized they are looking to Rush & Palin for reviving

Ehrlich did a good job as governor of Maryland. When he took over, the state was in a financial mess from the previous administration. He proposed slots and was stone walled by the Democrats. He still managed to get the state in good financial shape with spending cuts. He lost to O'Malley because of the George W. Bush revolt against all Republicans. Now O'Malley has made a mess out of the state again because of his free spending ways. Slots still havenb't been implemented when the people voted for them because O'Malley and his Democrat buddies want to take too much off the top. We need Ehrilch to come back and straighten out this state again.
