Last weekend, despite a brief burst of rain, Mike McDermott hosted his first fundraiser as he is running for State Delegate. More than 300 tickets were sold and Mike gave a speech that was one that held you from the second he started all the way through to the end. He's very good at that. I do believe this man wants to change the scope of politics in Annapolis and I firmly believe this is the man that can do it. Be sure to support Mike McDermott at the polls about a year from now.

Joe, how can you say this? I know you dislike the Burkes, but Mike is a crook! This has been proven even without thier spin. Come on Joe, at least show the unbiased side.
Ya know.... using an "anonymous" name to post crap just shows how the poster can spew garbage and hide. If you have factual information to support such allegations, be enough of a man, or woman, to post your name.
My name is Craig Theobald. I know and support Mike McDermott. The Burkes' and their ilk, are a bunch of whiners and sore losers. They are bankrupt both financially and morally and are just plane flakes. And they continue to prove that by posting here, and on their so-called blog, hiding their names.

You end up with false charges/false BS...Now that's known I Agree he is a crook.
Wow. My last comment didn't make the cut? All I said is I know him to be a great guy, but we need to question what our candidates stand for and not vote for people based on speeches. Joe refuses to find reasons to support McDermott, other than out of some sort of opposition to his friends-turned-enemies the Burkes, beyond his great speeches.
I like McDermott, but I am very disappointed that he is not campaigning on accomplishments, achievements, and what he can do for us. Right now his campaign consists of "Vote for me because I represent our values, and I'm a good speaker." And what I said (and got rejected guess I will again...) was that this is what's wrong with the America. We vote for people without truly taking a good look at them, and despite a wonderful opportunity to educate the public on what candidates stand for Joe is supporting McDermott and urging us to support him at the polls without any substance to back it up.
All I'm calling for is what we as citizens have a duty to carry out. Thanks for the earlier rejection. That first comment gets through but mine didn't... This is truly a shame.
