Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Route 273
Location: Route 273 westbound in front of University Plaza, Newark, Delaware, New Castle County
Date of Occurrence: Thursday, October 01, 2009, at approximately 6:15 a.m.
Resume: Investigators from the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit are currently on the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash. The location is Route 273 westbound in front of University Plaza.
Preliminary reports indicate this crash occurred in the roadway and involved a small SUV and a female pedestrian.
Traffic is heavy at this time and motorists should seek alternative routes.

People walk infront of cars all the time. They do it on rt 13 between wilson and church st. They want to get hit and think a car can stop dead in its tracks from 35 MPH. I say we just hit them. You know they are prostitutes and junkies.
