The 63rd Annual Salisbury Jaycees Christmas Parade will be held Sunday December 6th 2009. Starting at 2:00 PM. The parade route will remain the same as the last few years. Starting at Mt Hermon Road and traveling along Civic Avenue to East Main Street. (The rain date for the parade will be Sunday December 13th at 2:00 PM)
This years theme is “Paws and Santa Claus” reminding everyone that our pets are part of our families and should not miss out on all celebration of the season! In addition to our Grand Marshall, we will have a Pet Grand Marshall. The Pet Grand Marshall will be selected through a photo contest . Pet owners may submit a digital photo of their pet, in holiday attire to 09sbyjcparade@comcast.net by October 25th 2009. The voting will take place on our website www.salisburyjc.com from November 2nd through November 30th 2009.
Entry forms for all parade participants and more information about the pet photo contest is available at www.salisburyjc.com. This year parade chairman is Angela Kuzma, she may be reached by calling the Salisbury Jaycees office at 410.749.0144 ext.109.
Please join us along with local bands, floats, marching units, local dignitaries and local, state and national Jaycee guests as we kick off the holiday season for Salisbury.
