Let me get this straight.
Obama's health care plan will be written by a committee whose head says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it, signed by a president who smokes, funded by a treasury chief who did not pay his taxes, overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that is nearly broke.
What could possibly go wrong?

Dwight Eisenhower stated that the American people controlled their own destiny as long as three facets of our democracy stayed in check, never overpowering each other. They are the goverment, the military, and the industrialist. Sadly the goverment is leading us to destruction as a nation.

The United States of America is not a democracy.
We were established as a Constitutional Republic. Our Republic uses democratic principles. However, the majority does not rule our country. Our Constitution establishes rights of INDIVIDUAL people.
The Empire, which is being established by the military elite of this country ususally establishes DEMOCRACIES in the countries we conquer (like Iraq and Afghanistan). This is so the elite can control their elections and rule over their people and natural resources. In those countries the majority (which is manipulated easily) rules. Individual people have no rights in those countries.

Yes 4:28 the United States is a Republic however many forms of Democracy are acted on in this country by referendums, especially at the State level. Democracy derives its power from the people.

lemmeesee if i have this right. The so-called (by Sarah Palin) "death panels" which were NOT written into the medical reform proposals will now be removed from the bill, which according to Arlan Spector, has not yet been written. Questions?
