Adult Soccer League To Begin In Wicomico County

Informational Meeting August 26; League Begins in September

(Salisbury, MD) The Wicomico County Department of Recreation, Parks & Tourism will host an adult soccer league informational meeting on Wednesday night, August 26, from 6:30-7:30 pm in the upstairs conference room at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.

The adult soccer league is a new program this fall and will include players ages 18 & older. Games will be played under the lights at the Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex on Thursday nights beginning in mid-September. The league will consist of 8 regular season games and will also include league playoffs.

What ever happened to the male softball league that was supposed to take place in salisbury?

Not sure why you think public money is being used for the soccer league when the team and player fees more than cover the field maintenance and the refereee is paid for by the players each game???? Maybe another case of speaking before you know the facts.
