Coed Volleyball, Women’s 3-Hit, Women’s 6-Hit, Men’s 4 v 4
(Salisbury, MD) Local volleyball players will have a number of options this fall at the Wicomico County Department of Recreation & Parks. The County will offer 4 different adult volleyball leagues for the 2009-2010 season: coed volleyball, women’s 3-hit, women’s 6-hit, and a men’s 4v4 league.
Pre-season informational meetings will be held at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center at the following times:
Coed Volleyball: Thursday, September 3rd at 7:00 pm in Danang Room 2
Women’s 3-Hit: Thursday, September 10th at 7:00 pm in the Upstairs Conf. Room
Women’s 6-Hit: Thursday, September 10th at 7:00 pm in the Upstairs Conf. Room
Men’s 4v4: Thursday, September 17th at 7:00 pm in the Upstairs Conf. Room
The coed volleyball league will take place on Sunday afternoons during the fall and winter months. Team fees for coed are $450 for the season and player contract fees are $40 per player.
The women’s 3-Hit program plays on Monday and Wednesday evenings and the costs include a $525 team fee and a $40 player contract fee.
The women’s 6-hit and men’s volleyball leagues have team fees of $475 and the player contract fees are $36 per player. The women’s 6-Hit program takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings while the men’s league will play on Monday and Wednesday nights.
Each league is slated to begin matches in October and leagues will run through the winter months. Teams will also have an opportunity to participate in pre-season scrimmages and can schedule scrimmages through the Department of Recreation & Parks.
