Ugh, gives me a headache, far too much going on. Doesn't look all that different from the previous page as far as layout.

Well, I can see they STILL haven't updated their blog listings. Same old crap, half of them either dont exist or dont update content. Dawn promosed to add Two Sentz by June 1. What happened?

Lousy. Just as bad as before. Way too much going on. You can have lots of information that can be displayed in a much better manner. WMDT has always looked like something some middle school students have thrown together, so this latest effort should be expected.

It could look like crap for all I care, as long as Stacy Sakai is on there it will always look good!

Looks the same just a larger font, gives me a headache to busy

ill preface with the facts. im a web developer and have been for 15 years now. i have to say that using a 2200x1203 sized background image at half of a megabyte is as lame as the horrific graphics and banners they have on the site.

the site has 180 Errors, 23 warning(s) and would never pass a single standards test.

i see that inacom did this site, and they should be ashamed of themselves, really.

not only is the site slow loading, but its just so horribly designed that not one single design paradigm can be discerned.

there is no padding between the left links and banners and the center content section. no elements on a website should be sooo smooshed together. bad bad bad. rookies!

anyway, WMDT this is a 100% fail, and inacom, you really did a number here... i could have done this site for $500 and would have felt like i was stealing something.

im sure you charged an arm and a leg and for what? horrific. just plain bad.

They went from bad to worse, and still mostly junk journalism. Thank goodness for this blog in light of our "mainstram" media,

Since no one watches 47 I guess they thought they could get a few eyeballs here.

the design is vey busy. I do like the video's. All and all a big improvement from the old site.

Dear Mr $500 guy:

If you can make a site that large and complex for $500, please post your name, contact information, and references. I will hire you to do my new web site if it all checks out.

it was a euphemism, not a reality. if you are meant to find me as your developer, you will... a lot of companies around here have... not to mention there is nothing complex about that site... not sure what you see as complex there?

I have to agree, it sucks. Too cluttered, too busy, graphics butted up against graphics without any padding, etc. It looks like someone just took a bunch of stuff and randomly through it on a screen. It doesn't pass W3C.org validation and it will receive HORRIBLE search engine rankings for any key term other than WMDT.

I admit I'm a bit biased as I'm also a web developer (though I no longer live in Salisbury), but if that's the best Inacom can do, they better stick to just selling computers and networking.

where's the sports coverage?

It's a hot mess. But that Terrence Lee is soooo fine! I love him and Stacy! The website gives me a headache, too much going on.

Nice website. But, WBOC has free clasifieds and auctions. I've done well there selling (lots of $$) alot of things avoiding a huge yardsale. All for free!
Have to stick with WBOC!

OMG...a 3rd grader could of done a better job.

I guess Sports doesn't matter to anyone on Delmarva anymore.

I did like all the maps on the weather tab, but other then then the main site is too busy. Way too many graphics and advertisements. Looks like a big bilboard or something, so much going on you don't know where to look.

Inacom hasn't been known for their website development in the past, what do you expect.

If I were the station owner I'd be disgraced by this piece of work and be demanding a refund. Sorry to disgrace a Delmarva business, but knowing the kind of traffic the site will get they really should of brainstormed more, sounds like they are going to have a "blame storming" session instead..haha

I love the station and the people there but on the contest page there are 2 animated gif's that are 1 and 2 1/2 megabytes in size. I will never use inacom for anything, ever!

I can't believe they even hit the 'publish' button.

My heart sunk when I didn't see Justin Drabick on the front page.

Sports? No sports at 47 - they've got Hollywood at the end of their broadcast. Inane, worthless celebrity navel-gaving pseudo-news.

Of course, if you're shagging one of the anchors, THEN your sport gets covered.

OMG... That site gave me a migraine, a seizure, and tuberculosis.

You know what, the site isn't perfect, but they do have this awesome feature where each staffer does a quick video bio. That is a very very cool feature to have, esp when you want people to get to know the air talent. Kudos to WMDT.

wow, harsh comments. and 5:00 PM keep no-fact personal attacks to yourself

Yeah, just awful! Its like they weren't even trying. Take the links, for example... some are in all caps, while others use larger lower case letters. Just sloppy!

There's no attempt to even make the design look good. It just keeps getting worse. It's like the station's logo. It was kinda cool in the '90s (the red logo that used to be on the side of the buidling...probably still is), then they went to that script 47 which was just okay, and now they have this plain ugly 47 with the abc logo overtop (and the "Delmarva's Choice" squished at the bottom). It's like they're doing everything visually to make you change the channel.

Hate to say it, but it just seems like a continuation of the stations commitment to mediocrity.
