Salisbury Police Department Press Releases


On June 12, 2009 at approximately 10:40 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant for a robbery that occurred on May 25, 2009. On that date it was revealed that the suspect robbed a single victim at gunpoint in the area of E. Church St. and Naylor St. The victim was not injured during the robbery.

ARRESTED: Brandon Demond Davis, 19 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Armed robbery
Attempted robbery
First degree assault
Second degree assault
Handgun on person
Reckless endangerment
Use of a handgun in a violent crime

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900017920

On June 14, 2009 at approximately 5:40 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Bikesport Store on South Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival the officers observed the two (2) below listed suspects exiting through a broken window of the business, with property of the store. The suspects fled from the area and were apprehended a short time later a considerable distance from the business. Suspect #1 was located and arrested with the assistance of a K-9 unit from the Wicomico Co. Sheriff’s Department. The stolen property was recovered and returned to the store.

ARRESTED # 1: Juvenile, 16 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

ARRESTED #2: Juvenile, 15 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES (Both):
Second degree burglary
Third degree burglary
Malicious destruction of property
Theft (under $ 500)

DISPOSITION: Both released to guardian/parent CC # 200900020797

On June 14, 2009 at approximately 1:06 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding warrant for an assault that occurred on June 12, 2009. On that date it was revealed that the suspect assaulted a victim with a knife during an argument at the picnic area on Market Street. As a result of the argument the suspect produced a pocket knife and stabbed the victim on the hand and in the arm. The victim was treated and released from the Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

ARRESTED: Darnell Willie Revels, 49 years of age No fixed address

CHARGES:
Second degree assault
Possession of a concealed dangerous weapon
Reckless endangerment
Possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900020561

On June 14, 2009 at approximately 6:11 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding warrant for an assault that occurred on May 31, 2009. On that date the suspect stabbed a victim in the hand during an argument at the WaWa Store on South Salisbury Boulevard. The victim was treated and released from Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

ARRESTED: Omar Serrano, 20 years of age Delmar, Maryland

CHARGES:
First degree assault
Second degree assault
Possession of a dangerous and deadly weapon
Reckless endangerment
