The “MML” website has a blurb on the nominees for its new slate of officers and directors that will be elected in a few weeks. Comegys – currently the director for the four “lower shore” counties (District 1) -- is listed as the sole nominee for the position “First Vice President,” which in the normal course of events at the end of the term of that office will result in his election as the MML’s president next year (so he will hold that office when he runs for reelection to the City Council in 2011.
Probably very few of those who will vote even know about his real record in Salisbury’s city government or the mudslinging and other tactics used by the Comegys’ camp in the recent mayoral election. If you would like to clue them in here are some key contacts on the MML’s staff to ask to make the members aware of the true facts:

Better there than Mayor!
When Bubba is voted out of office in 2011, it may be the first time an officer of the MML has had to resign for that reason.
Let's hope that enough local officials in this part of the state know that Comegys is disgusting. But you can bet that his buddy Greg Olinde in Fruitland will be supporting him big time.
No mention of Carl Anderton of Delmar assuming higher role? Thank goodness we have other LOCAL representation.
Won't it be a great embarrasment to get him voted out of the council while he is MML President??!!
