U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin to Visit Fourth-Graders At East Salisbury Elementary TOMORROW

U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin to Visit Fourth-Graders at East Salisbury Elementary 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 7

East Salisbury Elementary School will welcome U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, for a Q&A session with fourth-graders who wrote letters to him about their concerns for the environment.

After East Salisbury Title I teacher Juanita Briddell guided students in reading and discussing a SOAR supplemental reading book called "Oil Spill," students decided to share their concerns in letters to parents and the senator. Sen. Cardin will meet with the 16 fourth-graders in the gym to take their questions and honor them for their interest in the environment.
