It SHOULD be easier for law-abiding folk to conceal carry; but at this time states aren't going to give it serious consideration until the unrealistic, extremist militia rhetoric agenda is toned DOWN, not UP-it {legitimately} scares them and their constituents. Until then-do yourselves a favor-go to ATMs ONLY during daylight, invest in cayenne pepper spray {only fire if wind is BEHIND you; otherwise don't pull it out at all}, a good cell phone with fully charged battery, and one of those Maglite flashlights that holds 3 "D" cell batteries-aim for the temple first. One of those collapsable "Tonya Harding" batons is wonderful against both violent thugs and wild dogs/snakes if in certain outback territory. As for your home, you can never have enough exterior lighting and a good adopted shelter dog to give you advance "woofs." Many of you are acting like the US military on a small scale; waste 30 million plus on a fighter bomber to drop a 500lb sack of love on a pile of rocks {in a wonderful effort to make smaller rocks}. Having all those smokewagons in the house also means they may ultimately be turned against your own wife/family, bartered for other goods in a "crack trade" or carelessly dropped with the hammer back around kids in school the next morning. Mr. Chernoff, Mr. Albero or Mr. Guerrero can all probably give you a way to schedule a few rounds at the Main St. Gym, in the snap of a finger, to work out your angst honorably {maybe even loan you some gloves-I would get my own mouthpiece, though}-The life sentence you ultimately prevent may be your own.

"unrealistic, extremist militia rhetoric agenda"??

Booby, it is the threat and real possibility of citizens rising up and taking their country back....that keeps this runaway corrupt government at bay. Double that for raving mad crack heads willing to bust you with their 9, whether in your car, in the street or in your home. To insinuate congressional crooks, thugs and crack heads are going to "back-off" in fear of your flashlight....is beyond even those with a good imagination. I suggest you quit writing your own prescriptions, perhaps that will allow you to ease back into reality. You weren't old enough to be in Vietnam, and you were still a child when it was cool to be a hippy. It's bad enough for you to hide in your closet with your black light, inducing yourself to comfortably numb, but beyond insulting for you to slander those that have and those currently willing to give their lives for this country, uphold our constitution and resisting the strangling arm of a corrupt government.

Peace Out....
