The Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary is hosting a benefit dinner & silent auction for Sara McGee Tocylosski on Saturday, February 7th, 2009. Tragically, 45 year old Sara was involved in an accident last year while visiting Ocean City, MD that has left her a quadriplegic. Through an intense rehabilitation program she has regained partial use of one hand; however she will remain confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Sara currently resides at Genesis Rehab and Nursing Center in Salisbury, MD.
Sara’s family, including her brother Lenny McGee, an active EMT & firefighter of the Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Company, is trying to raise funds to purchase an electric power wheelchair for her. Not only will this motorized wheelchair provide health benefits such as improved respiratory function and prevention of bed sores, it will provide Sara with an overall improved quality of life. This specialized chair will allow Sara to have the independent mobility that she desperately seeks.
The Ladies Auxiliary is sending this letter to request a donation from your business for the silent auction. Items such as gift certificates, products of your business or services that your company offers would be greatly appreciated! 100% of the proceeds from the silent auction and tickets sold for the dinner will go towards the purchase of Sarah’s chair.

Joe, There is so much sadness in today's lifestyle.Then there is the other side of the coin.Young women being killed,old folks being robbed, etc. Then we coddled these criminals and pay for their up keep at about 17,000 in the county jails and 25,000 yearly in the state prisons. That money comes from the honest peoples tax moneys.
