There has been a lot of talk about President Elect Barack H. Obama's birth certificate and eligibility to run for office.
This video puts the entire issue to bed once and for all.
A reader who commented on yesterdays post on the subject pointed us to another website which has a copy of a birth announcement in the Honolulu Advertiser from Sunday August 13, 1961.
In fact, the conspiracy would need to be even deeper than our colleagues realized. In late July, a researcher looking to dig up dirt on Obama instead found a birth announcement that had been published in the Honolulu Advertiser on Sunday, Aug. 13, 1961:
The announcement was posted by a pro-Hillary Clinton blogger who grudgingly concluded that Obama "likely" was born Aug. 4, 1961 in Honolulu.
Of course, it's distantly possible that Obama's grandparents may have planted the announcement just in case their grandson needed to prove his U.S. citizenship in order to run for president someday. We suggest that those who choose to go down that path should first equip themselves with a high-quality tinfoil hat.
Now that the Irish birth video has surfaced what are Americans supposed to think?

Nothing here proves that he wasn't born in Kenya.
Hawaiian law permits a Birth Certificate (which fact check has not seen they saw the COLB) for babies born to Americans overseas. Thus the announcement and COLB could exist and be legal even though Barack was born in Kenya. But if born in Kenya he is not legally allowed to be sworn in as President.
His original Birth Certificate will state where he was born and this is what is important. Furthermore the real COLB will have notations on history of his citizenship. Thus notes if he had Indonesian citizenship when he attended school there (again if so he is ineligible to be President). It will also note his name change from Barack Obama to Barry Soetto and back (meaningless unless he was Indonesian then).
Again how is it that we put our Constitution is such low regard that we might elect a President in direct contradiction to it? What is next? Freedom of speech? Second Amendment? Freedom of Religion? If we don't care about one part how can we care about any of the others?
All Barry or Barack needs to do is provide a few documents. Instead he has moved heaven and high water to hide them. WHY?
Obviously the only proof people like Steveangell will accept, is if he had been there in the delivery room helping with the delivery. Well...... Never mind, he'd swear David Cooperfield performed some magic act and that baby in front of him wasn't real!
This case has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE! It went to the U.S. Supreme Court and doesn't even need Obama's birth certificate to prove his case.

We have local birth announcements in the Daily Times that aren't from around here. You don't need proof to submit them either! We actually played a joke on a friend a couple years ago and had her listed as having a baby boy with all the details and she has yet to have a baby.
Again. Obama should have to prove he is qualified to be President. He hasn't.
If he could it would make all this go away. But he doesn't do it. WHY.
How did he get into Pakistan in 1981 when Americans were not permitted there? With an Indonesian Passport? How is it his first American Passport was issued years latter? Guess his Indonesian one expired. Indonesian passport means Indonesian citizen.

You talk about rights being taken away when it comes to Obama, but then you don't even follow our most fundamental right in the Judicial System: presumed innocent until proven guilty.
So, by all means, go out there and find the proof. I will back you 100% if you've got the proof, but, until then, you've got conjecture and innuendo.
And thank God our Judicial System doesn't run on your conjecture.

Factcheck.com is a PRIVATE website owned by a company that BHO used to sit on the board of.
The certification needs to come from the Federal Election Commission and now the California Secretary of State due to the Allen Keyes lawsuit.
How can an educated person think that simply posting a copy of a document on some website creates compliance with federal law and statute?
I am sure the man's qualifications were looked at.

I was not an Obama supporter during the election. I did not vote for him. But I do think that Mr. Obama's credentials were properly checked before he was elected to be President.
Mr. Obama does not have to show his birth certificate to anyone that he does not want to simply because they question it. He does not have to submit any proof to anyone except to those who certified him eligible to run and you can bet he has shown it to them.
Instead of asking Mr. Obama to provide you a certified copy of his birth certificate, why not ask the Federal Election Commission if he provided the necessary documentation to them?
