Where's The Daily Times On Important Issues?

Last Friday I presented a view from Andy Harris referencing the Bailout HERE.

We all know the Daily Times reads this Blog day in and day out and certainly that article is worthy of bringing it to every one's attention that pays good money and showing what makes each Candidate tick.

That being said, it once again shows they're not news worthy and certainly not worthy of the price they charge each day to their Customers. They're more interested in full page ads showing their new location and directions on how to get there.

I mean, seriously, don't you think the Bailout is worthy of an article AFTER Congress voted on it and what each Congressional Candidate thinks about it? How can they let a little Blog like SBYnews out do their alleged professionalism when they have some 200 Employees?

I guess if you don't say how Kratovil feels about the Bailout and your Wife is hanging on to keep her job, that's got to be the answer.

When he defeated Gilchrest in Feb., Andy Harris moved to the very top of Greg Bassett's enemies list. The DT is not going to print any news that might help Andy or harm Kratovil in November.

We need this blog to put the facts before the public because the Daily Times is not about to do that.

Andy Harris is reaping what he sowed in the primary.

BTW:

Does anybody else thinks its kinda funny that Harris's strategy has remained unchanged from the primary. During the GOP primary he called Pipkin and Gilchrest liberals. In the general he is calling Kratovil a liberal too.

Everybody is too liberal when compared to Andy Harris.

Maybe he should switch things up, because this strategy is clearly not working for the undecided/indpendent voters who won't simply take Harris/Meekins word on that.

SALISBURY — The financial crisis on Wall Street has divided 1st District candidates Andy Harris and Frank Kratovil on how government should intervene.
State Sen. Andy Harris is calling for an alternative to President Bush’s $700 billion bailout package that is now being backed by some House Republicans. Instead of buying struggling mortgages, the federal government would sell insurance on mortgages and include a cut in the capital gains tax.
“Why aren’t the Democrats just passing the (Bush) plan? They know it would result in $700 billion spent on taxpayer’s money,” said the Republican.
Kratvoil counters that it is a lack of oversight on the free market that has caused the crisis in the first place. The Democrat blamed groups donating to Harris’ campaign, such as the anti-tax Club for Growth in Washington, for advocating for less government regulation.
“Following their plans will not only do nothing to rebuild the economy, but will instead explode the deficit and even further undermine the oversight needed to ensure that the housing, credit and insurance markets have much needed safeguards to protect themselves in the long term,” Kratovil said in a news release.
Harris said it was Democrats, such as Kratovil, who led to Wall Street’s financial woes by encouraging risky mortgages. The disguise of affordable housing is what has undermined mortgage giants, such as Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
One poll shows the financial crisis at Wall Street could be tipping the presidential race in favor of the Democrats.
A national poll released Wednesday by the Washington Post and ABC News found that among likely voters, Democratic nominee Barack Obama now leads Republican John McCain by 52 percent to 43 percent. Two weeks ago, in the days following the Republican National Convention, McCain led Obama by 49 percent to 47 percent, a similar poll found.
Adam Hoffman, a Salisbury University assistant professor of political science, said Kratovil would benefit if he can catch some of the momentum building at the national level.
“Nationalizing all the elections by focusing on the dismal economy can only help local Democrats like Kratovil,” he said.

I read the Latshaw article last Saturday. Why post it again? What gives?
