Sally's Benefit

I would like to thank everyone who came to the benefit yesterday. The benefit was a smashing success. The restaurant/bar was packed. The kids had fun with a bounce house and face painting. The men had fun sitting at the bar, watching the football game.
Thank you to Mark (sorry I didn't get your last name), who helped raise $400. He agreed to chop his ponytail and donate it to Locks of Love if $400 was raised towards his haircut donation. Within a few hours, the money was raised for his haircut.
Thanks also to Dr. & Mrs. David Schiff. They donated their biker run winnings back to Sally.
The silent auctions were a smashing success. The largest pay-out was for Hooper's Crabhouse, thier donation was a basket including 2 shirts, 2 mallets, seasoning and a dinner and drinks for 4. It went for $260.
The 50/50 was at $1300, so half went to Sally, which was awesome.
All in all, the total which was deposited into Sally's benefit account was just over $8000.
Sally is very greatful for all the support and generosity. Thanks again, for everyone's support.

This is a welcomed sight. Reading a story of good people helping others from their own free will.

God bless you all, and God bless those who don't get a benefit for themselves. The Lord will always watch out over his flock.

OASIS DID NOT HOST THE EVENT

Yesturdays event was AWESOME!!! Oasis may not have been the "host" but they went above and beyond to provide a wonderful setting. Bobby Riccio donated all the food he provided and his employees were just wonderful. Ari was unbelievable behind the bar, and Jim from the kitchen was on top of everything. He would not take anything for all his hard work. This is the 3rd or 4th event I have held at Oasis, and each time has been awesome. Oasis is always very willing to provide anything and everything needed to make the events a huge success.....as far as shady people...they have my upmost respect and gratitude.
