Many of us were against the bailout for just this reason! We knew the bailout wouldn't really help.
Another bill of goods sold to the citizens.
This really ticks me off!

We HAVE to vote all these people out folks! Every one of them who voted FOR this bill should be out of office as soon as they come up for election!

And McCain's answer? Smear Obama for something he had nothing to do with. What a guy. I don't think the American people are as sdumb as McCain thinks we are, and we can see through his tactics. Or is it a strategy?

11:23AM That strategy worked for George Bush! LOL

Obama has everything to do with this. The dems want this because the only way to keep McCain out of office is to have the economy on the front of people's misguided minds. This is all a ploy by the dems to get their BOY in office.

Mardela,

You really are on top of things! You are right--the Democrats manipulated the Republicans to vote for years and years for deregulation, all the while knowing that in the Fall of 2008, they would see the economy tank, just to get some guy elected. The conspiracy goes even deeper, though. Just between you and me, Mardela, this whole thing started back when McKinley was assasinated. Shhhh. Don't tell anyone!

THAT'S IT!!! i'm headed to the bank and withdraw the $5.66 i have in there!

Joe,

you should post this question:
State when, what, and who supported the deregulation that lead to the economic meltdown.

The dems keep talking about it but no one has posted any proof of it.

Google the name Phil Gramm, who used to be McCain's main advisor. Then come back here and report what you find. Trust me, you will not be happy.

Come on, Mardela, you are better than the not-so-subtle racist remark in your 12:40 posting. I think a whole lot of politicans from both parties need to take responsibility for the mess we are in today.

Thank you Republican right-wing extremists!

As far as I'm concerned, BOTH parties had a hand in it.
It was not just Democrats and not just Republicans and personally I'm sick of everything being blamed on one party or another.
There are a lot of people in Washington not doing their job. It is time for them to be voted out and replaced with hopefully people who WANT to do the job.
It's a broken congress and unless major changes are made at election time, it will stay broken.
Keep the corrupt in there and we will continue to have corruption.

When I vote this year, I will not be voted for ONE person who is an incumbent in Washington.
Let's see how many of you do the same.
That will be REAL change! Not change spoken of by one candidate or another, but by the American people!
