This guy vandalized my vehicle to the tune of $3,800.00 in Delmar Md, at the same
time he called my home in Delmar DE threaten to kill me if I took him to court.
That evening, Delaware State Police picked him up and locked him up for 1 week.
We had to have a summons for the vandalism changed to a warrant because this guy
already had a warrant in Michigan for Assault w/weapon and Failure to Pay Child
Support and another warrant for assaulting a police officer in Florida. Both
non-extradition charges. Go Figure!! So they picked him up two weeks after
being released out of Delaware Jail and put him in Wicomico Detention Center
until we went to court on Jan 28, 2008.
He received a sentence of 18 months in WDC with 10 months suspended, no contact with me or my husband and supervised probation. Low and behold he was released on June 8 instead of Aug 13th for being good I guess, and was sent to Somerset where he again had a warrant out for him.
Now Somerset committed him on June 10 and released him on June 10 with the promise that he would appear in court on Aug 5, 08 for a hearing. WHAT A JOKE!! You guessed it, he never appeared and now he has a bench warrant out for himself with a $500 bond. Now he did report to his probation officer on June 11th in Somerset County with the understanding that he was to begin drug testing and report to probation.
Today, after finding all this out, you guessed it. June 11, 2008 is the last time Jeremy Reese has been seen by Somerset Probation. So, tell me who is keeping track of these guys? I spoke with his probation officer today and she said she just got his folder today. Now, he owes me $3800 in restitution, which I am sure I will never see. He also has two warrants out for him for child support and still has the warrants out for him in Michigan and Florida.
So tell me, why the hell is the Judicial System being so nice? If you see this guy, please call the Somerset County Sheriffs office.

His name is Jeremy Reese. He may be back in Delmar Maryland. Maybe Delmar Police will keep an eye out for him. Somerset will let Delmar pick him up for them if they call. His last know Delmar MD address was 1103 E State St. DELMAR PD ARE YOU LISTENING> WE DON'T WANT HIM IN OUR TOWN

Well part of the problem is extradition. Unfortunitly, Michigan isnt going to extradite him for a simply misd warrant or child support. Florida has been known to do that but either way, they only will hold him for 2-3 weeks pending extradition. My suggestion to you is get up with Ruark and have one of his assistant states atty's call michigan and florida and request that full extrdition be placed on their warrants before this guy gets picked up. The VOP here in MD he can get picked up anywhere in MD, but only MD. Even if he got picked up in Delamr DE, unfortunitly the way it works is he wouldnt be brought back, unless its specifically put on the warrant. Ive been in law enforcement for years now and you dont see it very often that a warrant from another state is extraditable.
The system just sucks.

Why was he let out early on any sentence? The judge should have made it day for day and no good conduct days etc. wouldbe credited / earned. Blame the Liberal Judges and your Politians along with the pathetic Lawyers. This is one of the main reasons Police do not do basic Police work. They know it is a waste of time and creative writing.
I know one thing is for sure. If he is in Wicomico Sheriff Mike Lewis will catch this loser.

Some have accused me of racism because I called violent black and latino gangs vermin. All violent criminals are vermin, white, black brown, yellow, or whatever. Being vermin has nothing to do with color or ethnic background. It has to do with violence and damage one does to others and society.
To clarify my comment, I'm not suggesting that you go looking to
exterminate this violent vermin.
However, if he shows up to harass you, I would exterminate him on sight. He's already threated your life. If he's close enough to harm you, i feel it would be a mistake to let him stand long enough to make good on his threat.

I agree but at the same time disagree with you! We have VERMINS in our judicial system as well, we have DA's that prefer to send and accused person to prison and set the criminal free on STET Doc's, just because they screwed up and accused the wrong person, later to find out OPPS! But in all reality, the victim gets violated everyday as long as the criminal or VERMIN is walking our streets, getting high and enjoying life! SAD! WERE"S THE JUSTICE! MY PRAYERS AND LOVE GO TO A SPECIFIC FAMILY!
Pick him up for chid support.He will do the complete time of 18 months and or pay full restitution then be let out.There is no good time for chid support.

I have no argument with you on that. Anyone who knowingly sends an innocent person to prison or allows them to stay there if new evidence proves they are innocent is also vermin. Any judge who allows violent criminals back on the street without imposing the maximum penality the law allows is a partner in the next violent crime the vermin commits against a child or other citizen!
I'm not for automatic maximum sentences for all crimes, but for VIOLENT criminals, every conviction should get maximum time allowed by law with NO early release!
To everyone, let me tell you that I do not and will not live in fear of this man. What I am determined to do is make sure that those parties responsible in making him pay for his crime do so. You may think this is crazy, but you can not blame the criminal if the system keeps letting him do what he wants. It's like raising children, if you don't set boundries they will make their own. I will make sure that his punishment fits the crime. To his children and their mothers who can not seem to get any help raising his children. God will provide a way. Take advantage of what the system will provide to you, they owe you that. I will either be a thorn in many peoples sides, or they will work with me to do the right thing.

I'm not sure that is the case in all states. I know of one slime bag who owes $65,000 in back child support. He's still making babies. He got picked up and put in jail for six months, then let out without paying a dime. I know of another, about $20,000 behind. SHE has an ankle bracelet and parties and gets drunk almost every night. She just has to do it at home. Of course, this violates probation, but somehow these stupid, slimey criminals are genius masterminds at beating urine tests.
Rumor has it that there is even a local deadbeat dad that is not only not in jail, but is active in local city government! I hope that is not the case!
Forget jail for deadbeat parents; that just lets them live for "free"
at our expense! I have a feeling that mandatory castration for any male who won't pay child support would greatly reduce the number of offenders!
To be exact, 1103 E State St is out of town limits for Delmar PD. WCSO or MSP's jurisdiction.

Non-support is actually chargeable now as a criminal contempt of court offense in most counties but some are not as strict as others.What I want to know is how all these guys with several kids with different Moms that NEVER pay stay out of jail.
We dont want Reese in Somerset County either!Unfortunately we cannot even locate missing persons here until they turn up dead so dont count on Reese being picked up here.
4:39 pm -- I believe the person you refer to WAS a deadbeat dad but paid up to stay out of jail. And yea, he is who you think he is. Remember that if you are a registered voter in Salisbury. I won't name names, but anyone who is familiar with this blog will know who I mean.

If it hadn't been for Davis, he would not have even served more than a month. Davis gave him the 18 months with the suspension of 10 months. It is the law that needs to change. You get 8 you do 8. Don't blame Davis.

I want to know why after 4 failures to appear in Somerset County, they let him leave the jail before his 8/5/08 court date and I want to know why somerset probation didn't wonder where he was when he didn't show up on June 17th. It wasn't until I called yesterday that they realized he hadn't shown up.
No offense but alot of mistakes get made there!-last yr my husband had a traffic ticket in Somerset District Court and paid his fine but the credit was given to another traffic defendant with the same last name who FAILED to pay that day-luckily since I check case files regularly we were able to fix the problem just a day before my husbands COMMERCIAL license was to be suspended for nonpayment.The staff I have dealt with there have been terrific but theres a problem somewhere when asstards like Reese fail to appear and no one knows.

I would think I know Delmar's jurisdiction as I used to work there. The street is in town limits but THAT house as well as all of the Woodlawn area is OUT of town limits. I'm not saying Delmar PD has not handled calls at that residence for the WCSO or served warrants. If there was a wanted subject there that we knew about we'd go get them.
