Cathcart Lane, Blvd, Circle, Ct. Street, Drive?

Isn't it interesting how we haven't seen Lynn Cathcart for months at the City Council Meetings and all of a sudden Natelson shows up and Lynn is right behind him?

I did speak to Mr. Natelson about the progress of the Old Mall and he informed me that they are looking at developing the commercial space first before they tackle the residential portion of the property.

He attended the meeting to make sure their development was exempt from future water and sewer EDU's and requirement plans. It has a lot to do with financing. My question is, WHY would Lynn be so interested in this meeting/project?

I'd even bet Mike Dunn was sitting on the edge of his seat at home watching PAC 14 and saying, WE'RE THIS CLOSE. NOT THIS CLOSE BUT THIS CLOSE! Now you have to wonder, this close to what Mike?

Well I see John, let me sell you a park site, Davis has finally surfaced . The same man that sold the property owners down the river by his leadership and vote on the Rural Developement Committee to take the landowners property rights away along with the equity by the stroke of a pen to down zone the A-1 district. I bet he is in attendance to protect the value of the farm he is buying to develop on Brown Road. Oh, that's right, there's a big difference... it is in the "growth" area.

What are you saying?

Is the mall owner getting another special gift from Barrie and Bubba?

And when are they going to make them get rid of that big mound of rubble on the Civic Avenue side?

Brown Rd. project....isn't that the area where there aren't enough sewer edu's to accomodate what's already on the books?

Mr. Natelson:

When you donate funds for Comegys to run for mayor next year, be sure to do it thru someone else so the public won't know!

I smell another developer scam in the making -- Davis, Natelson, etc.

anonymous 7:37 - After navigating the ship (whose agenda was to elimate the 1 in 3 cluster) for over a year, Davis then abstained from the vote because of a potential conflict of interest,or so he said. I suppose the conflict didn't arise until his agenda was complete. Another Farce in the History of Wicomico County Government.

The co captain of the ship was Murph who has made bundles purchasing and developing ag land. No one seems to understand why his opinion has changed. Is the reason because he might just have invested in land in the growth area?

Why can't somebody plant good grass and install benches, and make it a big public park? Wouldn't that be nice for the town?

There are already to many commercial sites vacant, we don't need more.

Brown Road and the Rinnier project off of West Road are scheduled to be annexed and built. Both are on the Delmarva Power lift station which can't handle what it has now and might not be upgraded in time.
Brewington Glen (Brown Rd) will have over 1600 units, while Rinniers project is proposed to have 95, thats 1695 units and not enough sewer or water to handle them.

Way to go Comegys, Shields and Smith.

I am willing to help printing of a list of all the Development Scams the Mayor and her puppets have "run though" the council, and the cost (known and not so known) to the taxpayers. I am willing to distribute them to the public, since we have no newspaper, and not enough people read Joe's blog. I think that it is important since Comegys thinks he will be the "heir apparent" NOT,
he is a puppet and we can only expect more of the same.
I am in favor of "growth" that is managed, well planned, and helps the economy and the tax base, and the developers/builders and ultimately the citizens. But, not on the backs of the taxpayers, nor to the financial benefit of public officials.
Wanna know why certain folks were at the council meeting? Money talks, loud. the exemption of the "Old Mall" from the proposed limitation of water and sewer use is tantamount to their interest. They were there to protect their interest. I am glad the legislation went back to the drawing board. Though important, it should not benefit some....while punishing others.
